We’ve had players go on to carve out great careers in the professional game and are proud of the part the club played in their success.
However, we are equally proud of the players who came to us as complete beginners and developed into competent players, but perhaps more importantly also developed friends for life, a love for the game and numerous life skills which will stand them in good stead in the future.
While we enjoy winning, we believe that the club’s success is measured more by how we develop players, how we play the game and how we conduct ourselves rather than by the number of games or trophies won.
The club’s ethos emphasises the development of players as individuals and as footballers. We believe our first duty is to ensure the children are safe and have fun taking part. Then, by teaching football skills as well as self-respect, and respect for teammates, coaches, opponents and match officials alike, we believe that not only will they benefit but so too will the game of football as well as the wider community.
Thanks for taking the time to read about our club.
